well the manga has an interesting reveal, so naruto and Sasuke are distant family after all. It looks like the Manga is drawing to a close, all is being revealed.

Named after the Shinto Moon god, Tsukuyomi is one of the most powerful genjutsu in existence. It is unique to the Uchiha clan and only those with the Mangekyo Sharingan can perform it. It is said to represent the “Spiritual World and Darkness” (精神界と闇, Seishinkai to Yami), the antipode to Amaterasu, a ninjutsu of similar power and fellow Mangekyō Sharingan dōjutsu, said to represent the “Material World and Light” (物質界と光, Busshitsukai to Hikari).
Tsukuyomi requires eye contact to be performed. When executed, the jutsu traps the target in an illusionary world that is completely controlled by the user. While it only takes a few seconds to complete in the real world, the user can make it seem as if days have passed for the target. Depending on the user’s whim, they can either torture their target for days on end, or make them relive a traumatic event over and over. When the jutsu ends the resultant psychological trauma will render the target unable to fight for a while, and possibly suffer a complete mental breakdown. An example of this is Kakashi Hatake, who had to be hospitalized for quite some time after Itachi performed the Tsukuyomi on him.
A common feature of illusions created by Tsukuyomi is a red moon that casts a red light throughout the illusion, giving the background a blood-red appearance while the figures within the illusion are in a grayscale, inverted color. This feature is not present when Itachi uses Tsukuyomi against Sasuke Uchiha in Part II.
Such a powerful technique is not without its disadvantages, however. Due to of the complexity of the illusion and the quickness with which it is executed, an enormous amount of chakra is necessary to perform it. Though Kakashi says that Tsukuyomi cannot be escaped, Sasuke has been able to break out of Tsukuyomi by using his own Sharingan.

I think that when sasuke trys it on naruto whatever itachi passed to naruto will completly nullify all his genjutsu tricks or maybe he loaded up a big flashback of his life him being itachi so sasuke will see the truth with his on eyes just a thought

cause no one so far has the same Mangekyo powers its only cause

No phantom, those techniques can be awaken through the mangekyo. itachi managed to awaken all three techniques.

Yeah Nico. But sasuke didn’t wake them up. I think itachi passed them down to sasuke in some way. I didn’t see any part in the manga dat involved sasuke creating new jutsus besides “Kirin”.

There is something that has been bothering me for quite some time now and i still can’t figure it out. Now we all know that there are three eye techniques in the ninja world: the byakugan, sharingan and the rennigan. The rennigan is said to be the superior to the other two. My question is, why is it that Madara was able to control Pein? Since madara’s eyes should be no match for pein’s.

maybe he didnt view him as a threat maybe madara twisted his words to make it sound like he was doing the world a favor and didnt realize his mistakes until the fight with naruto we all saw his troubled past he was a wreck just took a little smooth talking to influence him

yeah made the same assumption on madara manipulating pein via deceit rather than using his eyes. the sharingan appears more superior based on what we have seen. what else can the rinnigan do anyway?

we have only seen the sharingan in action and pein is the only one we know if that with the rinnigan, i doubt we have seen the extent of it’s powers like we have the sharingan

The Rinnegan is the most revered of the three great eye techniques. The Rinnegan is characterized by a number of concentric circles around the pupil of the user. Its power is said to be enough to save or destroy the world, although what sort of powers and techniques this entails have not been stated. It was first possessed by the Sage of the Six Paths, said to be the founder of the ninja world. The first ninjutsu were derived from his abilities. Pein, the current and only known user of the bloodline, first activated it during his childhood to save one of his friends, Yahiko and is also noted by Konan that Pein has never lost a battle probably referring to his Rinnegan eyes.

Madara manipulated Pein or Nagato’s feelings like with Sasuke right now
seems to be very good at that its not his eyes
speaking of which if anyone could have amaterasu,Tsukuyomi,and Susano’o
Kakashi would’ve had them by now I really think the Mangekyo’s powes vary from person
to person

kakashi only has 1 sharingan while he is 1 of the best ninja he doesnt have uchia blood its too much of a strain on his body

You are right Phantom, the Mangekyo techniques vary from person to person and we are not sure what Sasuke’s techniques are just yet but he may have the ethereal mangekyo like Madara and that’s a big problem for Naruto
