I enjoyed this episode and was in awe of Naruto. I do not think I would be able to put up with Sora’s foolishness
I don’t know what lee and the others were thinking by trying to attack Sora. Yamato’s technique would have obliterated an ordinary shinobi but was no match for the evolved Sora. I can’t understand why Asuma is fooling around with Furido (kill the bastard already). In any even, Naruto’s performance was laudable. His penchant for compassion and understanding is infallible. I take my hat off to him.
He certainly has matured and this episode is proof of his maturity.
On another note, Sasuke is getting is ass whooped in manga. Are there any color versions of manga? Sometimes I have a hard time deciphering the black and white..lol

Nico, thanks for your contribution and review of the above episode - i cannot put it better. I am surprised at the outcome of the battle. Totally agree, i dont know what the rest were thinking attacking Sora, but i guess the writer needed to show how powerful Sora is, and how helpless everyone is. The alternative, ie others standing around WATCHING, would equally be inappropriate

Truee, i wanted Naruto to turn into the Kyuubi as well… (Show Sora not to mess with the real Nine Tails!) When is Neji going to get some real action besides way in the begining VS Kisame and himself?! Im dying to see what Neji and Hinata can REALLY do, after this huge time skip.

Xeros, remember that if Naruto turn into Kyuubi then he looses consciousness (much like a werewolf) and cannot distinguish friend from foe. Therefore, it would not be in his friends’ or Konoha’s interest for him to turn into the nine-tailed beast because it would destroy the entire village. Remember that’s what Furido (who we now know to be Kazuma, Sora’s father) waned all along.So, that is why Naruto stabbed himself with a Kunai because he realized that Kyuubi was taking control and he couldn’t stop Sora in an unconscious state. Naruto’s actions in this episode demonstrated his growth and showed us that he’s not just a Knuckle-headed ninja but he’s clever when needs be.
Admin, you gave an excellent synopsis of the writer’s intention as fas as the helplessness of the others is concerned in such a high level battle. Correct me if I wrong, from what I understand, Sora doesn’t have another Kyuubi no Yoko inside of him but it was his father (Kazuma) who placed the Kyuubi’s chakra inside Sora.
Thanks for putting up the raw episode and then updating it with the subbed version (that’s the way to go).

No worries Nico - we follow Naruto ourselves unlike most other websites who do it for the money. I watched the RAW version first, and wanted others as desperate as I was to be able to watch it! Some of you may understand japanese!
No idea when the movie will actually be available to us - but we will keep all posted once available. From previous releases, it takes up to 6 months before it becomes available (ie DVD release).
Interesting point you made about Japanese…lol. I find myself saying a few words here and there.
I guess, we’ll have to wait a while yet for the new shippuuden movie. we seem to forget that these people need to make money. But it doesn’t change the fact that we are dying to see it! Six months seems like a lifetime.
I’m very interested seeing the movie and all. And hopefully Sasuke comes back to team Kakashi another thing I would be interested seeing hopefully Sasuke killing Oruchimaru or Naruto that would be a nice scene to see.

The new shippuuden movie will take a while to come out, as Admin. stated earlier. Sasuke is way past team Kakashi now, Xeros (no use hoping for that). ????, I don’t have direct internet either but i watch what I can of the episodes, with daily motion video player you can load the episode from where you stopped viewing it.
I think what Orochimaru fears will be the very thing that kills him: the sharingan.
Waiting for the episode to come and I dont read mangas I dont even know where to get them lol.
I did read Manga as well, Xeros, but I am starting to read them backwards (from the most recent). It’s way ahead of the shippuuden the only problem I find is that it’s in black and white and sometimes the action can be confusing. It allows you to see where the shippuuden is going.

some more wind jutsu and water jutsu cause I still say that
naruto should have a water element with his wind but if I draw any

It’s funny how no one mentioned that Itachi was a good guy all along. His situation was very tragic,I was moved by his story even though I can’t be sure if Madara was lying or not. Pein killed Jaraiya but he no longer concerns me; Madara seems to be the invincible one now-not even the first couldn’t kill him-and he can control the Kyuubi. Even if Naruto become a sage, I doubt that will be enough to defeat Pein much less Madara. The Gadaime is no match for these guys, am afraid even Katashi is out of his league but let’s hope Sasuke comes to his senses before things get out of control. if not, then I fear konoha will not be able to protect itself. There is no one in the village that is on par with Pein and Madara and Sasuke is on their side to make matters worst and that venus fly trap guy (Naruto calls him “aloe vera” hahaha)no one knows what he can do.There are dangerous times ahead and the faith of Konoha lies on the bring of the abyss!
????, Naruto already did the cyclone jutsu even though he performed it once. Remember that episode where he and Sasuke and Sakura went to help Idate Morino on his race to the todaroki shrine. They were accosted by the sound ninjas that they had encountered before at the chuuni exams in the forest of death. Their boat was set ablaze and they had to swim for it. one of the guys held naruto down under the water but Naruto used his Bunshins to create rasengan and that fused with the water and created a cyclone. I don’t quite remember the episode number but I know naruto performed that jutsu.

I found out some interesting things from reading the manga

Sasuke didn’t kill Itachi (tough he won the fight, technically)
and he didn’t kill Orochimaru either
I’ll explain my findings on the next discussion board
actually Nico I meant a cyclone of wind not water wind
and naruto was using rasengan to swirl the water so that doesn’t really count
as a jutsu and that Idate morino arc was completly stupid (if you ask me)

I know Naruto used rasengan to create that vortex. But I think you need to fuse your cyclone with something else, otherwise it will have no effect on a jounin (and Naruto mostly fight high level shinobi). Besides rasengan, I don’t think Naruto can create wind by himself. Hmmm, that cyclone fused with Raiton (lightning) or saiton (water) would be quite powerful but Naruto can’t use any of those jutsu. But you could use the kyuubi’s chakra to make it on par with the rasengan. Maybe you could call it ‘Wind Element: Ultimate Demon Fox cyclone fury technique’ (don’t know that Japanese translation).
But I mean its a high powered jutsu Thats really powerful
and can wipe out high level ninja like Sasuke’s kirin
