“Last Words” is the latest episode of Naruto Shippuden released this week - for those of you who have forgotten what happened two weeks ago, Shikamaru bears witness to his mentor’s death as he lays in his arms in his final moments. Shikamaru and team remains at threat of being wiped out by the Akatsuki - how will they face their enemies without their leader and will help arrive on time? The Knight of Konoha will have to outwit his opponents to stay alive and to avenge his mentor’s death. Although a sad moment in Konoha, this is perhaps one of the best arc’s in Naruto! Enjoy the action and do not be afraid to watch it twice

Asuma’s life is finally over and Shikamaru’s blood has come to a boil. Hidan and Kauzu goes off in a puff of smoke and leave team Asuma to mourn the loss of their Sensei. What lies ahead for ten 10? how will they cope with the loss of their teacher? Will his death go unpunished?

Well guys, we really AND I MEAN “REALLY” NEED TO ENJOY THIS EPISODE BECAUSE ITS ONE OF THOSE WHICH STANDS OUT IN THE WHOLE MANGA STORY. GET SOME TISSUE, POPCORNS, UR FRIENDS, OR WHATEVER BECAUSE WE WILL NEVER SEE ASUMA AGAIN. POOR KURENAI, I HOPE THAT AFTER SHE DELIVERES HER BABY SHE CAN GET BACK TO ACTION. AND WHATEVER HAPPEN TO KONOHAMURA(DA THIRD’S GRANDSON), ISN’T HIM RELATED TO ASUMA? The king probably refers to the children of Konoha. A simpler answer could be Naruto!
What is the significance of a “black sword”? Kakuzu looked pretty surprised to see a black sword.

It is an ill wind that blows as Asuma slips slowly into the abyss. The heavens mourn his loss as the dark clouds cast a eerie gray over the fire country. The heavens cried as Asuma whispered his final words to his beloved team 10.
His efforts to protect the “king” were to no avail. Even though he had quit smoking, his life was still cut short in the end (see the irony). But he now passed the baton on to Shikamaru and the other konoha shinobi.
Asuma died a true shinobi….R.I.P. Asuma

I THOUGHT HE WAS DEATH.

Pein - is the leader of Akatsuki and “he” is not a single person, instead being six entirely different bodies that share the same mind. The common physical characteristics amongst them are their orange color hair, numerous body piercings, and their Rinnegan.
The Rinnegan, is a unique eye condition characterized by a number of concentric circles around the pupil that will allow the wielder to utilize any ninja ability. Pein uses it to share visual information amongst all six bodies, giving them the ability to coordinate both offense and defense as if they were a single entity.
Each of the six bodies also possesses a unique skill however not much else is known about these skills yet.

The guy weilding the BLACK SWORD is called Raido Namiashi (並足ライドウ), a very powerful Jounin, he served as the Third Hokage’s assistant during the Chunin Exams, and is characterized by a large scar on his left cheek. I don’t have any info on the black sword or it’s abilities, but it is rumored that Pein has one. I’ll search and see what I find.
Manga is heating up guys, kakashi has his hands full and Tsunade finally stood up to her advisors. What the hell is Donzou up to?

Nico- thank you for the info on Raido Namiashi - i tried checking up on the black sword but nothing much so far. Did not know Raido was a significant character in Naruto. Also, thanks for the info on Pein. Where did you find that from? Cant believe Danzou killed the toad! I am not sure whose side he is on anymore!
Oh, Baby kun, i really doubt the King refers to Asumas unborn child. That would seem too insignificant in the bigger scheme of things. Surely it is a symbolic thing, my guess is it represents the future of konoha ie the children.
Cant wait for the next episode! Feel free to chip in if you guys have any leads on the black sword!
Well, the black sword is nothing big, it is used with demon crow summoning to conceal the sword as the user attacks.. that’s all i found out.
wikipedia has these info and some other naruto site but the info on pein was from a fansite

they are not clones Baby-kUN, they are actual living bodies that are Pein.
it’s like Sasori and his puppets, pein can transfer his souls into each body just like sasori could among his puppets, the difference is that all six bodies ARE pein and he can see what each one sees and communicate with them accordingly. I know it’s a bit complicated.
