This Naruto episode is entitled "The Terrible Secret"
Nothing feels better than to wake up to another fresh episode of Naruto, the latest Shippuden episode 85 entitled: The Terrible Secret is out and completely subbed in English by our friends in Dattebayo! The latest episode takes us straight to battle between Kakashi, Shikamaru, Ino and Chouji and the immortal Akatsuki duo. Team Kakashi unlocks Kakuzu’s secret - the invincible Akatsuki has more than one life. Overall an excellent adrenaline pumped episode with lots of action and duels. Shikamaru decides to take on Hidan alone, will he be able to take an Akatsuki all by himself? Next week is another Naruto Shippuden One Hour Special week where this arc draws nearer to a close. Naruto should see some action next week with his new found jutsu!

NOW SHIKAMARU, HE WAS RUNNING AROUND IN ACTION, GO SHIKAMARU. WHAT CAN I SAY ABOUT KAKASHI? WELL, HE’S ALWAYS COOL. ONE THING THAT I NOTICE INO SAID WAS THAT SHE IS NOT GOOD IN HAND-TO-HAND COMBAT. I THOUGHT SHE WAS GOOD AT TAIJUTSU LIKE SAKURA(KINDA). NOW ABOUT THE MANGA. FIRST, IF NARUTO WON’T BE ABLE TO PERFORM THE TOAD SAGE MODE, HE IS GONNA HAVE TO FIND A WAY TO TAME THE KYUBI. SECOND, KAKASHI. I DON’T THINK NONE OF US KNOWS IF HE’S REALLY GONNA DIE. BUT I HOPE HE DOESN’T AND LIVE TO TELL THE STORY. THIRD, KONOHA. U KNOW WHAT CAME TO MY MIND,(i don’t know why all this ideas are just popping in my head) IT WOULD BE GREAT IF KONOHAMARU FINDS KAKASHI AND THEN “IF” KAKASHI DIES, HE COULD KINDA PASS HIS SHARINGAN EYE TO KONOHAMARU. WOULDN’T THAT BE KINDA OF AKWARD?LOL, PEACE YA’LL.
THE TERRIBLE SECRET…..
The akatsuki duo has proven to be more then Skikamaru surmised. Ten Ten is pushed to the limit as kakuzu and Hidan’s combo attacks have them running for cover. Kakashi and Shikamaru are phenomenal but Choji and Ino are just baggage.
Hidan and Kakuzu’s hearts have Kakashi on his toes but kakashi is an awesome jounin and lives up to his reputation! He even managed to fool Hidan with a bunshin! He would be unstoppable if he was a true wielder of the sharingan.
Team ten****
This is the most action-packed episode in all of Naruto anime! Almost every second is filled with Kunia and fist clashing together. Futon! Katon! Raiton! Kakashi eludes them all!!! Shikamaru, the excellent tactician rescues Ino’cho from the iron clutches of kakuzu (shikamaru summons WATER).
Shikamaru lures Hidan to his death while kakuzu, the immortal prepares to deliver his final jutsu…. what will be the fate of Kakashi, Hidan and Shakamaru….. the next episode will reveal all!

I really liked this episode and I think I watched it about four times. Damn, Kakashi is good!!
I tell you, the manga better step it up a notch,’cause we cannot have Kakashi killed off. But you know what I think? kakashi will get some advice from his father and come back to defeat pein or at best Ino’s father will use their clans’ secret to disrupt PEin’s chakra flow between the six paths and then overwhelm Pein. pein is not invincible guys, he is much like Kakuzu, you just have to kill all six of them.
Kisimoto really knows how to keep us guessing, you gotta admire that (i don’t know him btw).

it would seem the next naruto shippudden is an hour long special but it is delayed until December 4. Naruto Shippuuden Episode 86-87: “Shikamaru’s Genius(Shikamaru no sai)” and “When You Curse Someone, You Dig Your Own Grave(Hito o norowaba ana futatsu)”

Inoichi Yamanaka
Inoichi Yamanaka is Ino Yamanakas father and a member of the Team Ino-Shika-Cho. He is able to use the mind transfer jutsu and the mind control jutsu. He is a member of the Yamanaka clan and owns the Yamanaka flower shop along with his daughter Ino Yamanaka. Inoichi is a member of the Ino-Shika-Chou trio, three Jounin of the Yamanaka clan, Akimichi clan and Nara Clan. His daughter Ino, is a member of her own Ino-Shika-Cho judging that their fathers were once teammates themselves in their early days as ninja. He makes his first appearance, during the Chunin Exams mid festivals, sitting alongside his two team members, Shikaku Nara and Choza Akimichi. There he was berated by Shikaku, about “How Troublesome” it must be to have a daughter. noichi was part of Ibiki Morino’s Investigation team and tried to read the mind of one of Pain’s henchmen, but the mind of the henchmen seems to be protected by some sort of powerful genjutsu. He manages to break through the genjutsu protection barrier and go straight into his mind, but he was interrupted when his daughter, Ino, tells him about Konoha being under attack by Pain. Inoichi’s signature Jutsu, Mind Body Disturbance Technique makes enemies attack each other without any control, this is one of the Jutsu that Inoichi used during the war with the Sound and Sand.

Hey good to be back! School is a killer. I don’t get time anymore to watch Naruto mostly but I stil try to keep up with the latest Naruto episodes. Who is ????????????? That person asked a pretty strange question. I think Naruto should learn to control the nine tails fox and start summoning it to battle from now on it would be pretty cool.

Totally agree, it would be awesome if naruto could control the nine tailed like how the 8th tailed is controlled. Somehow i dont sense a great relationship btw naruto and the ninetailed.

Admin if you read manga 420, then you’ll see that ‘the brain’ is not a physical place, it’s the genjutsu that Pein set up to prevent them from reading the shinobi’s mind.
and if you read 425 you will see that that guy is dead.
I don’t get your point Naruto, anyways look a Manga 420 pages 15 & 18 AND manga 425, pages 9 & 13, you will see that they are actually in a room performing a ritual on the ninja to see what he knows about Pein, you will notice that in manga 420 Inoichi has his eyes closed with his hands on the ninja’s head. When he finally enters the ninja’s mind he sees this big brain which is the genjutsu set up be Pein to bar them out. Manga 424, will show inoichi and the others floating in this genjutsu world with their hands pressed to this big brain. And the ninja is not dead, you can’t probe someone’s mind if they are dead; it’s the same guy that jaraiya captured in the belly of the toad and turned his teammate into a frog, he didn’t kill him. The dead guy shizune talking about is a ninja Jaraiya remember killing on one of his adventures.

I think he will earn the nine tails fox respect when he has to fight Sasuke to the death. I think Pien can control six dead human bodies at the same time but the fault is that one body could only do one objective and they work as one. If the really one is not with to group Pien isn’t such a big treat but a really big COWARD.

HIS SHADOW CLONE TECHNIQUE IS GETTING A LITTLE TIRED. ????, THEY ONLY NEED TO FOLLOW THE STORYLINE OF THE MANGA BUT IF THEY SHOWED BACK THE EXACT SAME THING THEN THE EPISODES WOULD BE WORTH WATCHING. it’s better than the manga, if you ask me.

Sorry that sounds a bit confusing, ????. What I meant is: if they showed the same thing that you read in the manga then it wouldn’t make sense to watch the episodes so that is why they change it up a bit. They only need to follow the story line. And besides, I think the episodes are way better than the manga.
I will seriously miss Hidan, he knows how to make you laugh. I’m sorry he had to die but better him than Shikamaru.

TV Tokyo has announced that it will begin streaming English subbed episodes of the Naruto series, about one hour after their Japanese broadcast, to paid monthly subscribers worldwide on the Crunchyroll video service on January 8, 2009. Crunchyroll will then provide free streaming of the episodes 7 days after the paid subscribers see them. Viz Media announced earlier that it will also begin providing free streams of the new episodes on the official Naruto.com website on January 15. In reaction, Dattebayo fansubs also announced they will drop providing Naruto Shippuuden subbed to all of our Naruto-fans. Although this would be a good moment to thank Dattebayo for their work, their trolls, their trojan 404 pages and their funny feedback. I wonder how 2009 will go for the Naruto anime fans. To be continued, I guess….

Doesnt make much of a difference, since there will be weekly naruto episodes (only an initial one week lag, and knowing that people in japan are one week ahead! ) If you can handle that, there will still be weekly episodes to look fwd to.
SPOILER: this weeks manga feels pretty short. Not much action, just setting up for the next manga. I never knew Konohamaru had any jutsus apart from the Sexy-jutsu he learnt from Naruto. I dont see that working on Pein! That kid’s got courage and the will of the fire!
Admin, the eight tailed beast is called HACHIBI NO HACHIMATA. The original eight tails as portrayed in Japanese mythology is actually a snake but i guess an OX is more suitable for the Naruto anime since Orochimaru is already a snake shinobi.
I have not yet read the latest manga but i will tonight.

What the hell is wrong with the leaf shinobi? No one of them performed a jutsu against pein. Ebisu is suppose to be this elite Jounin and yet naruto would have had the sense to use a shadow clone.
I guess we can all assume that Kakashi will not die.

1. I think they probably did not want to waste time on fights between miscellaneous shinobis (whose characters have not been built up) and pein- was hoping for some resistance from Ebisu though! Naruto taught Konohamaru the sexy jutsu!

Well, the fight with kakashi and Pein is over and we cannot conclusively say that kakashi is dead, so it’s a fair assumption that he will not die. Besides, what would be the point of showing him with his dad, if he’s gonna die anyway?
i thought it was common Knowledge that Naruto is based on Japanese folklore (my bad)…. Even Ebisu is the name of a Japanese God.

Admin, Jiraiya’s life flashed before his eyes before he drifted into oblivion but Kakashi’s didn’t. Instead, it was just flashes of Rin and Obito and then he was transported to a realm where is dad was sitting around a fire. it would be very stupid for them to introduce a new element which has no significance. What’s the significance of kakashi seeing his dad in death and talking to him about the past?
Kakashi did not spend time with his dad but when you are on the brink of death, I think you only reflect on what has passed. I think Kakashi is in a state of half dead and will be healed by one of Tsunade’s slugs or he will force himself to come back.
On the other hand, Kakashi might not be useful anymore since he can no longer train naruto; they are essentially on the same level even though Naruto is still a genin (that’s retarded, right?)
Anyways, it’s all speculation…. I miss itachi…
Naruto could be drawing close to end an…Pein is near death (will be within this arc in my opinion) and the only missing pieces left are Sasuke/Naruto friend/foe outcome and also Akatsuki’s grand plan(read Tobi). Do you see Naruto dragging out for another 100 chapters in manga guys?
well, it could draw out into another 100 chapters, after all look how log it took them to kill of Orochimaru and he was the Main antagonist at the beginning of Naruto and remember Akatsuki was not introduced until later on. So,who knows? maybe we might see new antagonists appearing. Plus, Naruto has a while yet to be Hokage. The Naruto/Sasuke rivalry could take a long time just as the Sasuke/Itachi rivalry did. SO, let’s wait and see, admin… it ain’t over ’til the fat lady sings and I think that will be a while yet.

The embattled Team 10 continues to fight the immortal Akatsuki duo, which are now separated due to Shikamaru’s genius. Hidan, confident in his immortality, viciously attacks Shikamaru, and is tricked into thinking that his attack was successful. He then proceeded to curse Shikamaru the same way he cursed his deceased sensei, Asuma. But Shikamaru had anticipated this and Hidan slowly realize that he had fallen into a trap. Can Shikamaru vanquish the immortal sadist? Elsewhere, Kakashi, Ino, and Choji, are at their wits end as their efforts to dispense with the “century old” Kakuzu is to no avail. Just as Kakuzu launched an attack that would blast them to the nether realm, a surprise back-up unit arrives with Naruto at the elm…
